[BIT News Flash] To Create a Global Chinese "Olympic Games of Orthopedics"

On the afternoon of May 9th, the Organizing Committee held a press conference at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. Fan Ruihua, Deputy Secretary General of Shanxi Provincial Medical Association presided over the press conference. Vice president Zhao Bin, Guangxi Zengyu, Zhang Jin of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, Liu Yueze, deputy secretary of Shanxi province; Professor Lv Zhi, director of the Department of orthopedics of Shanxi branch, Liu Hui, dorectpr of Taiyuan coal Conference Center and Chairman Mei Xiaodan, chairman of BIT Group attended the press conference.
During the press conference, Chairman Mei first introduced the preparation and progress of the conference, followed by Zhao Bin, dean of the second hospital on behalf of the organizing committee news release. 29 professional magazines and other media reporters and more than 100 representatives from hospital, association and conference service providers of Shanxi province participated in activities. BIT's 4th Annual World Congress of Orthopaedics 2017 (WCORT-2017) is hosted by Shanxi Medical Association, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, co-organized by Shanxi Nursing Association, supported by Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Surgery, Journal of Practical Orthopaedics, and operated by BIT Group Global Ltd. The conference will bring over 300 leading orthopedic surgeons and scientists to discuss the practical challenges, concerns and strategies in this field, which are from more than 50 countries and regions. It offers a great opportunity for orthopaedic physicians, clinicians and scientists, at any stage in their career, to present, develop their own technique, research, and network with other orthopedic experts. And the conference is expecting over 2000 professional audiences to join this grant event.
WCORT-2017 will feature three days of world-leading plenary lectures, cutting-edge symposia, high-quality oral communications, and lively poster sessions, which covers a wide range of themes in orthopaedic area including Spine, Joint, Trauma, Bone Tumor, Orthopaedic Microsurgery, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Foot and Ankle, Sports Medicine, Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Reconstruction, Osteoporosis, Orthopaedic Nursing, Digital Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Biomechanics Materials. Moreover, you would explore further communication and collaboration through social activities during the conference.
The congress also wants to dedicate to medical 3D printing research and investment, Professor George Smoot of University of California at Berkeley, Nobel Prize winner in physics in 2006, attended the conference and delivered keynote speeches. Professor Smoot will also visit the second hospital medical 3D printing center to discuss exchanges and cooperation. The conference will have more than 400 well-known experts in bone science from more than 50 countries and regions, and some top international scholars and more than 2000 delegates to share the latest research results.
