Conference Introduction

The Annual World Congress of Infectious Diseases (WCID) has been successfully organized 8 times in the previous years and has attracted more than 2000 participants from over 50 countries and regions. We are so proud to announce that the 9th WCID will be held on June 12-14, 2024 at Budapest, Hungary. It is a dedicated event where you will have the opportunity to learn about new developments in the field of Infectious Diseases and share aspects of your own work. The scientific program has a lot to offer in the different subspecies of our discipline and it also covers general topics which will be of interest to many. After the scientific program, you will also have a chance to experience some of this city’s best attractions as well as learning about the country’s captivating history.

Introduction to Conference City

Budapest city, capital of Hungary, and seat of Pest megye (county). The city is the political, administrative, industrial, and commercial centre of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest has long been the focal point of the nation and a lively cultural centre.
