We enjoyed the BKK conference very much. It was one of the most well-organized conferences which we had attended. This year the poster session was improved compared with that in the Singapore conference. Although we found some very interseting posters, we could not contact and discuss with the authors.

Regarding the congress, I enjoyed it very much, in special the session of my communication, and I learnt a lot. I only have to point the strong air conditioning. The room temperature was too low. Once I had to go outside to become warm! But it seems that is usual in Singapore.

Located on Osaka Bay where it is easy access to the ‘Kaiyukan’ aquarium, popular theme parks, and the venue of the ‘Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan’ to be held in Yumeshima in 2025, and you can see the Yumeshima from the room on the sea side. The enhancing neighboring cities of Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara are connected to the Hotel via the nearby subway or the Hotel’s daily complimentary shuttle bus service to the city center. Free parking (accommodating 330 cars) is available to staying guests and is also suitable for trip by car. With 432 guest rooms and ancillary facilities including four restaurants, a café, and large and small banquet halls, this full-service hotel can be used for business, sightseeing, and weddings.

The hotel is 45 minutes by car or bus from Kansai International Airport. There are several convenient transport options available from the hotel to access the many popular areas of Osaka.
The hotel can be conveniently accessed by subway, airport limousine bus and complimentary hotel city shuttle. On-site parking for 330 private vehicles is also available.
► From Kansai International Airport to the Hotel
Limousine Airport Bus
The airport limousine bus to the hotel departs from Bus Stop 7 of terminal 2 and Bus Stop 3 of terminal 1. Take the bus bound for Osaka Nanko for JPY1,600 per person. (Travel time: 50 minutes.)
Taxi
A direct taxi ride from the airport to the Hotel would cost approximately JPY14,000 per car (4 persons maximum). The travel time is approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. Note: this is the most convenient way to reach the Hotel outside the operating hours of the limousine bus service.
Hotel limousine car
Hotel limousine takes approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic and costs JPY22,000 per car per trip. Advance reservation is necessary.
Train
Take a Limited Express Haruka to JR Osaka station. From there catch the Hotel’s complimentary shuttle bus service.
Shuttle Bus Service
Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay offers complimentary shuttle bus services between the Hotel and JR Osaka station running every 60 minutes.
Taxi
For travel outside the operating hours of the shuttle bus service, the most convenient way to reach the Hotel from JR Osaka station is via a taxi. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes and the cost is approximately JPY6,000 per car (4 persons maximum).
Subway
From JR Osaka station, transfer to the red subway line “Midosuji” and take the train to Hommachi station. From there transfer to the green subway line “Chuo” and take the train to Cosmosquare station. Transfer to Newtram line and take the newtram to Nakahuto. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes and the cost of a ticket is JPY290.
► From Itami Domestic Airport to the Hotel
Taxi
The most convenient way to reach the Hotel is via a taxi. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes at a cost of JPY8,000 per car (4 persons maximum).
