Organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Wuxi Branch, as one of the important international meetings of the Chinese Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition (CREC), the 7th World Congress of Smart Energy-2017 was held successfully at Worldhotel Grand Juna Wuxi during November 2-4, 2017. Mr. John H. Patterson, President, JP Innovation, Inc., USA delivered Address for Keynote Forum. As the keynote speakers, Mr. Dennis Bracy, Chief Executive Officer, US-China Clean Energy Forum; Chairman, Avatar Studios, USA; Dr. Maher Chebbo, President, ESMIG (European Smart Energy Association); Chairman, Digital Energy Group, ETIP SNET (EU SmartGrids), Belgium; Chief Commercial Officer, GE Power Digital Solutions, France; Dr. Hossam A. Gabbar, Professor and Fellow RAMSP, University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), Canada; Dr. Sergio C. Trindade,  President, SE2T International, Ltd., USA have presented their excellent talks and warmly discussed with the audiences at the keynote forum. Smart Energy-2017 included 5 Parallel Forums, and speakers from nearly 15 countries, who are involved in Smart Energy, Smart Grid, Energy Storage, Solar Energy, Hydrogen Energy, Fuel Cell Technologies, Bioenergy, and other related applications, have shared their experience and achievement with the others. We felt extremely happy to bring so many old and new friends to the beautiful city, Wuxi, China and do wish all of the participants sensed the warm hospitality, happy holiday environment to let them get the feeling at home. We were so excited to see many innovative scientific and technological breakthroughs have been made by all speakers. Depending on the warm support and creative efforts from all the participants, we are confident in organizing the Smart Energy-2020, which must be better and more successful than Smart Energy-2017.
