The 7^th Annual World Cancer Congress-2014 (Cancer-2014) and the 5^th Annual World Congress of Neurotalk-2014 (Neurotalk-2014) Have Been Successfully Held in Nanjing, China.

Hosted by the Information and Research Centre of State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs of PR China, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and CCPIT Nanjing Sub-Council, operated by BIT Congress Inc., CCPIT Dalian Sub-Council and Nanjing Economic-Technological Development Area, Cancer-2014 and Neurotalk-2014 have been successfully held in Nanjing International Expo Center Jinling Convention Center. Hua Jingchu, deputy mayor of Nanjing has made remarks in the opening ceremony.

There are 3 sessions with over 67 reports included in these two events. Almost 400 out of the 600 participants are abroad. Nick Rawings, vice president of Oxford University, Merck Serono, senior vice president from one of the Fortune Global 500 Companies, 2 academicians and 77 overseas Chinese scientists, etc. have participated in these two meetings.

The two co-current events act positively in global academic communication. With access to the latest academic and clinical findings and product showcase, there are more possibilities for medical problems being solved.

Nanjing is one of the Four Historical Cities in China. It is known as the “Capital of Six Dynasties” and the “Most Developed Area of Ten Dynasties”. It is also an important birthplace of ancient Chinese culture. Nanjing, since long time ago, has been the economic, cultural, military, traffic and education center of China. Cancer-2014 and Neurotalk-2014 worked as a bridge to connect Nanjing and the rest of the world, which would hopefully attract more investment and projects for Nanjing. Meanwhile, these two exciting events also play an important role in building the awareness of Nanjing inside and more importantly outside China.
