BIT’s 8^th Annual World Cancer Congress-2015 got underway at 9 a.m. May 15, 2015. Held in Beijing International Convention Center, the opening ceremony of the keynote forum was hosted by Dr. Nianli Sang, associate professor of Drexel University. President of BIT Group, Dr. Xiaodan Mei; Director of State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs Information Research Center of International Talent, Mr. Chen Hua-bei delivered the opening speech. Mr. Fan Yan-jun, Associate Director of National Center for Women and Children’s Health; Mr. Feng Xiao-jian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association of Health Promotion of the Ideological and Political Work; Director of State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs Information Research Center of International Talent, Mr. Chen Hua-bei attended the opening ceremony.

Keynote speakers included Dr. Thomas Tursz, Honorary Director General and Professor Emeritus of Institut Gustave Roussy & The University Paris South (Paris XI); Dr. Yuxin Yin, Dean and Director of School of Basic Medical Sciences & Institute of Systems Biomedicine of Peking University; Dr. Irving Taylor, Professor and Vice Dean of University College London; Dr. Yi Zeng, Honorary Dean of College of Life Sciences and Bioengineering of Beijing University of Technology; Dr. Stephen J. O’Brien, Chief Scientific Officer of Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics of St. Petersburg State University; and Dr. Russel J. Reiter, Professor of UT Health Science Center.
