Hosted by China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, directed by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Chongqing Science & Technology Commission, and Chongqing Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, co-hosted by Information Research Center of International Talent and Commerce Commission of Chongqing, organized by BIT Congress Inc. and Convention & Exhibition Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the 4th Annual World Congress of Advanced Materials was successfully held in Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center on May 27-29, 2015.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Dr. Zidong Wei, Professor and Dean of Chongqing University, with Dr. Xiaodan Mei, President of BIT Congress, Mr. Chen Hua-bei, Director of State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs Information Research Center of International Talent, Dr. Akira Suzuki, 2010 Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry, Emeritus Professor of Hokkaido University (Japan), and Mr. Sun Hua-pei, giving opening addresses.

At the Keynote Forum, 2014 Nobel Winner in Physics, Dr. Shuji Nakamura, 2010 Nobel Winner in Chemistry, Dr. Akira Suzuki, Leibniz Prize winner, Professor of University of Fribourg (Switzerland), Dr. Bernd Giese, and Founder of The Nano Group, Inc. (USA), Dr. David Reisner respectively delivered fascinating keynote speech. Approximately 800 attendees from over 40 countries and regions joined the opening ceremony and keynote forum.
