On Jun 26, 2015 China (Qingdao) MICE Industry Fair opened at Howard Johnson Kangda Plaza Qingdao, during which time there will be conference for MICE industry cooperation, meetings on MICE industry development, and initial launching of 2015 China MICE purchase index.

Based on his international conference organizing experience these years, president of BIT Congress, Dr. Xiaodan Mei shared his opinion on 2015 international conference developing trend. First of all, marketing efforts on brand hosting cities will bring more and more opportunity to second-tier cities; second, along with the economic recovery, Europe and the United States are increasing their budget in MICE industry, thus bringing up the number of overseas delegates to China as well as local hotel standard; Third, conference planning will focus on efficient practices, hence accelerating attendees’ meeting experience; last but not least, techniques in MICE industry will be more diverse in order to meet ongoing development. Under the current circumstance of “Internet+”, the relationship between MICE and technology should be “MICE + Internet” to avoid putting the cart before the horse.
