Leaders of Changsha Convention and Exhibition Management Office Visited BIT Congress Inc.

In the morning of August 13th, Chen Shuzhong, party secretary and director of Changsha Convention and Exhibition Management Office; Tang Yuanqing, secretary of Changsha Party Committee and chairman of Labor Union of Finance Bureau; and Chen Feng, division chief of Government Policy Research Office came to visit BIT Congress Inc.. Dr. Xiaodan Mei, president of BIT Congress inc. with several other executives met with the guests.
During the Meeting, President Dr. Xiaodan Mei extended his warm welcome to the leaders from Changsha Government, illustrated basic information of BIT Congress Inc. and current situation of MICE industry. The leaders from Changsha municipal government introduced fundamental state of Changsha鈥檚 MICE industry and reward policy. Meanwhile, they emphasized that the mayor of Changsha municipal government pays close attention to exhibition economy and actively propagandizes Changsha鈥檚 advantages and resources. Changsha municipal government will provide special support to exhibition economy. Director Chen and Secretary Tang expressed that Changsha offers great opportunity to the development of MICE industry. In addition to conventional exhibition and conference, Changsha will hold 鈥淴iao Ying鈥 international film festival, which will be the first film festival in China. Echo to the 13th Five Year Plan, Changsha will strive to encourage and develop the following industry which are new material and energy, energy conservation and environmental protection industry, High-end equipment, bioindustry, new energy automobile and intelligent outfit; and support talents and project docking.
At the symposium, both sides made deep discussion and communication about the conference planning, preparation and arrangement. They all hope that they could cooperate more closely in MICE fields.
At the end, President Dr. Xiaodan Mei and several other executives accompanied Director Chen to visit BIT and newly established Genghis Khan International Maker Space. Director Chen and other guests highly praised the contribution BIT has made in ten years.
