Grand Opening of BIT鈥檚 5th Annual Congress of Ocean

This morning, BIT鈥檚 5th Annual Congress of Ocean was opened in Qingdao Golden Beach Hilton Hotel. China Association of Oceanic Engineering, Mr. Zhou Maoping, Director of the Committee of Qingdao West Coast New District and Mayor of Huangdao District Government, Mr. Li Fengli, president of BIT Group Global, Dr. Mei Xiaodan, Director General of Danish Maritime Authority, Dr. Andreas Nordseth attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. Li Kejun, who is the chairman of China Association of Communication Enterprise Management, former president of CCS and former president of IACS. President of China Fisheries Association Mr. Zhao Xingwu, director general of Shandong Maritime Safety Administration, Mr. Yuan Zongxiang, Vice President and Secretary General of China Association of Oceanic Engineering and head of Consultation Center of State Oceanic Administration, Mr. Qu Qiang, vice-chairman of CCPIT Qingdao Sub-Council, Mr. Wang Jianjun, deputy mayor of Huangdao District Government, Mr. Meng Changqing, general manager of CCS Qingdao Sub-Council, Mr. Zhu Yongshi and party secretary, Mr. Xiang Liangkai, president of Indonesian Aquaculture Society, Dr. Ir. Rokhmin Dahuri, Chairman of the Korea Conservation Area Forum, Dr. Jong Geel Je and Director of Bioiberica Spain, Mr. Sergi Segarra have attended the conference.
The conference was organized jointly by Information Research Center of International Talent, SAFEA, Committee of Qingdao West Coast New District, CCPIT Qingdao Sub-Council, China Association of Oceanic Engineering, China Institute of Navigation, China Fisheries Association, China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, China Algae Industry Association, supported by Qingdao Huangdao District Exhibition Office, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian Ocean University, operated by CCPIT Dalian Sub-Council and BIT Group Global. With the theme of 鈥淚nnovation Integration, Cooperation and Sustainability鈥, the conference will be held on November 4 to 6. The conference covers World Ocean, fisheries and algae, altogether three related areas, and there will be 20 paralleled seminars and 150 project report. The conference has invited high-level experts and entrepreneur representatives from nearly 500 domestic and foreign enterprises.
